In the normal course of business, we will ask you to provide us with personal information about you or your employees in order to serve your insurance needs. We use your personal information to help you find and, if you choose to do so, apply for health insurance and/or other products that may be of interest to you, your family or your employees. We may also use your personal information to help the insurance carrier you choose process your application and to service your policy once it is in force. We may contact you to survey your satisfaction of our products and services, inform you about additional products and services we offer, and/or refer our products and services to other people.
We do not sell, trade or exchange your personal information to any person or entity.
We do not disclose your personal information to third parties, unless one of the following limited exceptions applies.
1. Insurance Companies, Licensed Agents and authorized HSA Trustees or Administrators. If you submit an application for an insurance product offered by us, we will disclose your personal information to the insurance carrier you have chosen to process your application. If you submit an application for an insurance product offered through an insurance agent or agency with whom we have associated, we may disclose your personal information to that agent or agency to process your requested quote or application. If you complete an enrollment form for a health savings account (“HSA”) offered through an authorized HSA trustee or administrator with whom we have associated, then we may disclose your personal information to that trustee or administrator to enroll you in an HSA. Please be assured that these partners are only allowed to use your personal information to process your requested quote, application or enrollment form.
2. Service Providers. We may disclose your personal information to other companies that assist us in providing you with insurance quotations, periodic updates, or to process your application.
3. Legal Obligations. We may disclose your personal information when we believe, in good faith, that the disclosure is permitted or required by law, for example, to cooperate with regulators or law enforcement authorities or to resolve consumer disputes.
